I've been having an issue with my car going into safety boost at the strangest times, usually only on the highway. Then i turn it off and right back on and its back to normal. I was testing it tonight and I can drive the car on side streets, boost it all day long, no problems. I get on the highway and it runs great, no boost problems, for a good 20 miles or more. I have it in 5th gear at about 60 MPH. Too low for this gear, but i gas it and watch the boost build. Boost builds to 14 psi and then immediately drops to 6 psi. Stays in safety boost until I exit the highway and hit a stoplight. I turn the car off, let the RPMS hit zero, turn it right back on, and it boosts just fine. But if I do the 5spd thing again, it goes back into safety boost. Anyone seen anything like this? The car is with Dane right now, he's gonna look at it, but I'd like to be able to help him out and give him ideas on where to look. Thanks guys.
